We are always looking for new players and people who might like to get involved on the committee.

There is always space for new players as we are currently setting up a efficient system to help new people get involved in the sport  (Participation) and to help them to progress towards competing in friendly games,competitions and the league we compete in,the Shannon side League(SSL).It is our main goal to raise the standards for all players involved in the club as to fulfill their full potential(Performance).

”Purpose”

To provide opportunities for members and non members to participate in basketball events for competitive purposes to attract new interest in the sport.

We intend to

1.    Increase participation and performance in basketball events/training/matches.

2.   Promote the sport through different events for club fundraising and charity/community work.

3.   Create a structure link for the schools, while developing a local school league.

 

 Youth team training:

  • Finished since May 24th 2016,A ten week training session programme should commence before the end of the year or the start of 2017.

  • Every Tuesday
  • 8:00 – 9:00pm
  • Strokestown SC
  • 3-5 euro per player (depends on no.s)
  • Boys aged 16 years +
